Validation artefacts are the tools that help parties and service providers to comply with the PEPPOL Transport Infrastructure Agreements (TIA) as they help to ensure the contents of the exchanged document instances in the PEPPOL network are valid both from a syntactical and a semantic point of view. These business rules check for the correctness of the coded values, co-occurrence constraints or calculations. It is therefore necessary to use them before submitting documents to the network, in order to ensure the overall quality of exchanged electronic documents, and thus the overall performance of the network.

Please implement support as soon as possible.

PEPPOL BIS for Singapore

In May 2018 Singapore joined OpenPEPPOL as its first non-European PEPPOL Authority. As a Non-EU country Singapore organizations and companies must comply with tax legislation that is different from the EU legislation which is supported in the European eInvoicing Standard EN 16931 and consequently in the PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 specification.

To accommodate for this Singapore has adopted a specific BIS which follows the PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 except that it replaces VAT related rules with Singapore GST (Goods and Service Tax) rules.

The name of the specification is ”SG PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0”. It is an extension to “PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0”.

The PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 specifications apply with the exceptions listed in the SG PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0

Validations artefacts for SG PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 can be downloaded from here
